Hi, I'm Adam

Growing up on my parents’ dairy farm, I have always been passionate about problem-solving and gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to repair things that were broken.

This natural interest led me to agricultural college where I formalised my education in what I had experienced first-hand during my childhood – from repairing tractors and large agricultural machinery to running cold water mains in steel pipework and trenched water mains throughout a large farm.

I first trained as an apprentice plumber in industrial and commercial systems installation around twenty years ago.

I qualified as a commercial plumber in the installation, commission and servicing of unvented hot water systems and received WRAS approved certifications in water supply regulations (1999) and legionella, covering: L8 (Legal responsibilities), Legionella and Legionnaires disease, Risk Systems, Domestic Water Treatment Types, Practical Operation, Recording Systems and Records, Inspection/Enforcement Visits and Emergency Procedure.

I have extensive knowledge and certification in Safe Handling of Refrigerants, Commercial & Domestic Ventilation, Installation and Servicing of Air Source Heat Pumps, Installation of Solar Heating Systems and Oil Burning Appliances.

Throughout my career, I have always kept my qualifications up to date and update my gas safety certificates every five years.

My current qualifications in gas are: CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1 and WAT1. I also hold current certificates in LPG: CONGLP1 in Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV), Permanent Dwellings (PD) and Residential Park Homes (RPH).
